Wild Woman Circle
We recently gathered, naked in nature for a Wild Woman Circle on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja (Perth, Western Australia) where we shed societal expectations and embraced our most natural essence in a raw and authentic, ceremonial photoshoot which was both liberating and incredibly healing, while cultivating sisterhood and creating a safe space to access and express our inner wild woman.

The Wild Woman
This archetype represents the untamed and free-spirited aspects of femininity. She is often depicted as a force of nature, unapologetically embracing her primal instincts and living in harmony with the natural world. The wild woman is fiercely independent, courageous, and in touch with her intuition. She is not afraid to challenge societal norms or expectations, choosing instead to follow her own inner guidance and live authentically.
Connecting through ritual & ceremony
We worked with our Earth Altar to channel our desires, burnt the things that no longer serve us and offered the ashes back to the Earth in ritual.
Group intentions and releasing rituals can amplify the energy and power of the practice. Coming together with sisters to set intentions and release what no longer serves us creates a sense of connection and belonging as we vulnerably share our intentions, desires and worries and send them deep into our portal into the earth.
When releasing what no longer serves us, we did a powerful burning ritual which allowed us to let go of negative emotions, limiting beliefs, or anything holding us back. As we watched the flames consume our words, we experienced a sense of letting go and release. It's a cathartic process that clears the path for new beginnings and growth. Once the burning was complete, we gathered the ashes and offered them back to the Earth as a sign of gratitude and surrender. This act of letting go and returning to nature is symbolic of completing a cycle and brings awareness to the concept that our negative feelings and emotions are never a burden on the Earth.
Accessing our inner wild woman
By embracing our most natural state in the wild, combining the healing benefits of nature, with the spiritual practices of rituals free from judgment and comparison, we can learn to love and appreciate our bodies for what they are – beautiful, diverse, and inherently worthy.
Remember, the wild woman within is not bound by rules or constraints. She is a force of nature, untamed and unapologetic. By tapping into this primal energy and expressing it authentically, you can cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness and confidence. So, the next time you feel that energy building up inside you, don't hold back - let it out. Embrace the wild woman within, celebrate your uniqueness, and revel in the freedom of expressing yourself fully and uninhibitedly.
